Retail as Art provides a platform for high school students to showcase their work in a sophisticated setting, inspiring their artistic pursuits through recognition and awards, and exposing teens to the myriad of artistic careers. The fact that the the phtographs are for sale at affordable prices is just icing on the cake.
A charitable initiative imagined by United Commercial Realty, the 7th Annual Retail as Art Competition inspires high school students from across the metroplex to submit their photographic and artistic interpretations of retail spaces. Judges decide on winners, who are awarded scholarships to pursue their studies.
Photos will be one display from April 23-25, and winners will be announced at a catered event that marks the closing of the exhibition.
