We’re pleased to introduce our 2014 Retail As Art Patrons!
These blogging goddesses have graciously given their time to help generate buzz for this year’s Retail as Art photography competition. Food to fashion; arts to architecture; nightlife to novels; travel to tech. These women know their Dallas retail! Each shares a passion for cultivating our youth: the future of the Dallas arts community.
Cynthia Smoot: Cynthia spends her days creating interactive social media strategies and handling media relations for clients at Gangway Advertising. At night, she hits the town to cover the “hottest events and coolest people” in Dallas for her lifestyle blog, Oh So Cynthia. From food to fashion, reality TV to charity galas, cultural events to business deals, this city is happening and Cynthia likes to be right in the middle of the action and take readers along for the ride!
Allison and Courtney Edwards: Authors of Where Wear in the City, this twin duo was immersed at an early age into a love for fashion. They enjoy the finer things in life… fashion, nightlife and events! Courtney has a passion for event planning and marketing and enjoys cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. Her counterpart Allison has a love of working with children and devotes her time to helping others and serving as a mentor. When they aren’t out saving the world or hitting the town, you can find them working out, training for marathons, playing tennis, attending concerts and cultural events, spending time with their chi-weenies and shopping for a bargain of course! Who says you can’t have it all?
Jennifer Buxton: Jennifer also goes by the Real Posh Mom. Real Posh Mom is a blog devoted to real food, posh style and the lifestyle of travel, tech toys (big and small) and the family. Jennifer believes everything in life has a story, and life is too short not to enjoy the best of it. Jennifer comes from a PR and Marketing background with a love of photography and exploration.
Lea Ann Stundins: Lea Ann is a creative marketer specializing in concept and strategy for branding, promotions, events, PR, social media, digital and social content, video and advertising. She owns and writes for Mommy’s Wish List, her blog of seven years, and currently creates content for BlackBookInk. She is also a resident of North Oak Cliff, mom of two boys in Dallas ISD, and passionate neighborhood activist for art and culture in Dallas. Lea Ann has a BFA from The Columbus College of Art and Design and you can see her current drawings on her tumblr “The Coup de Coeur Project“.
Betsy Mitchell: Betsy is the founder of The Dallas Socials and Lip Gloss and High Heels. She is a lifestyle blogger who covers all the hottest events and restaurants that Dallas has to offer. Follow @DallasSocials for the latest and greatest that Dallas has to offer.
